Pages browned and brittle, with several already chipped and/or torn in the margins. Number to top of front endpaper, no other marks. Dustjacket in old mylar with brown paper edges, flaps glued to pastedowns, a stamp and remains of a label at the edge of the front flap to the pastedown. Not particularly attractive, but a complete copy of a somewhat scarce Crime Club title. A Tommy Hambledon mystery.

A very nice copy of this scarce Crime Club selection, of the Character and Atmosphere classification.
